Mathilde F. Anneke
Anneke was an outspoken advocate of equal rights for women and one of the city’s leading suffragists. With poet Amalia Von Ende, she founded the Tochter Institute, a school for girls. She devoted her life to teaching, writing and lecturing on many reform topics.
