Alonzo Seaman

Alonzo Seaman came to Milwaukee in the late 1840’s and started a wagon making company and then moved into furniture. Seaman Furniture Company would become Milwaukee’s largest furniture manufacturer. Subsequent generations moved the business in early wooden auto frames and eventually built auto frames for Nash motors. Their auto body facility was located on Capital Drive.
