Beer Barons
Milwaukee was made famous by the brewing industry during the 1800s and early 1900s. A popular stop in this tour is Beer Baron’s Corner, where Schlitz, Blatz, and Pabst monuments are all near one another.

Several of Milwaukee’s leading industrialists call Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum home. From Lynde and Harry Bradley of Allen-Bradley Company to Edward P. Allis of Allis-Chalmers Corporation, each trailblazer has an interesting story to tell.

Military Heroes
Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum is honored to be the burial site of many military heroes including one of Alexander Hamilton’s grandsons, Lt. Col. Charles Hamilton.
Milwaukee Mayors
When you find the graves of many of Milwaukee’s 26 mayors, you’ll not only see mayors but also two of Milwaukee’s founders. You may recognize their names by the city streets named for them: Kilbourn and Walker.
Remarkable Women
The first female physician in Wisconsin. Co-founder of a local non-profit. Educators. Leading suffragists. These are just a few of the women of Milwaukee’s history who did amazing things!

Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum is home to more than 2,800 trees representing over 100 species. The self-guided tree tour provides a colorful sampling of our remarkable tree collection. Each tree is tagged with a silver disk and its own unique number.
